RICS HOME SURVEYS
We undertake a range of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) surveys. Primarily, we undertake RICS Home Survey Standard Level Two and Three reports. However, we have historically commissioned Home Survey Standard compliant reports for the greater benefit of the wider industry. This is a service we can offer for specific purposes, should you wish to do so.
RESIDENTIAL VALUATIONS
Being RICS Registered Valuers, we also undertake valuation work for matrimonial, tax (including inheritance, capital gains etc.), probate, buy to let, or shared ownership purposes.

Mortgage valuations are purely to assess risk against the asset to be held as security, and do not provide a detailed written report regarding any issues identified. Most homeowners who don't get a survey face average repair costs of between £5,000 and £10,000. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) have also found that 17% of non-surveyed houses cost over £12,000 on average to rectify.

We pride ourselves on being the personal, professional surveyors. Whilst many surveyors offer similar services, we go the extra mile for every client. Prior to any inspection, the surveyor undertaking your inspection will get in contact by phone, to discuss the property to be inspected. As part of this initial conversation, you will have the opportunity to discuss any queries or concerns you may have, alongside gaining an understanding of which survey would be best suited to your needs. You will then have the surveyors direct contact details to discuss the property in greater detail, once you have fully read the report.
All of our surveys come with photos of relevant defects. We believe transparency is always essential and with the inclusion of photos, you are able to better understand the defects identified on our inspection. Furthermore, should you need to renegotiate, these photos are invaluable when referring to specific defects at a later date.
Subject to access, weather and permission, we undertake a drone inspection where possible. Drone footage allows us to inspect hard to reach areas, such as chimney stacks, flaunchings, flat roofs and ridge detailing, helping to deliver a more complete picture of the overall condition of these hard to inspect areas, from ground level.
